      Mit mehr als 15 jahren Erfahrung in verschiedenen produzierenden Unternehmen u.a. als Mitglied der Werksleitung dreht sich bei mir alles um die kontinuierliche, Nachhaltige Veränderung. Hier lässt sich der klassische Lean/ TPM** - Ansatz wunderbar mit den "neuen" Agilitäts-methoden kombinieren.


 ** TPM: Im Original steht die Abkürzung für Total Productive Maintenance., ein Proramm zur Reduzierung von Anlagenausfällen. Heutzutage ist hierunter ein umfassendes Produktionssystem zu verstehen, bei dem mit kontinuierlicher Verbesserung Verschwendung im gesamten Unternehmen attackiert werden. daher übersetze ich es mit Total Productive Management.

As part of the local management team I have the operational as well as the strategic responsibility for developing and implementing Total Productive Manufacturing in the operations and manufacturing environment. Apart from the annual saving accountability I am responsible for the further development of the TPM program, in close cooperation with the European community. I am also the project leader for the European pilot of the Beiersdorf Manufacturing Operating System.  

 

·      Set up organization, build ownership for the factory KPIs and improve the saving process: Generating, validating and follow up (Best Practices within Beiersdorf). Overachieving annual saving target for the second year in a road and the pipeline is already filled.

·      Create zero loss thinking within the organization. Setting up and implementing the loss tree to derive and focus on the right activities i.e. material loss reduction. Currently working on the improvement of the zero loss deployment together with the Controlling department.

·      Implement the shop floor management as part of the Beiersdorf Manufacturing Operating system. Setting up the standards, tracking the progress and coaching the meetings to further develop the team.

·      Organize and lead TPM trainings as well as workshops such as VSM, SMED or 5S. Focusing on capability building within the factory by implementing multipliers and developing further TPM trainers.

·      Development of cross-plant standards. Setting up working groups and enabling them to successfully implement TPM methods by training and coaching. Successfully implemented the factory wide OPL system and the Kaizen process in a pilot area. Currently supporting the introduction of Autonomous Maintenance.

·      Set up a TPM working group combined with a master thesis of a mechanical engineer for implementing structured problem solving. By now this method is used factory wide and mandatory for every quality deviation.

·      Further development of the TPM concept and best practice experiences within Beiersdorf (e.g. TPM Assessment and Scorecard) as well as within the lean network. ·      Leading the BluePC initiative in the factory to reduce the CO2 emission by 50%. Forming an energy team and implementing a data management system we achieved the DIN EN ISO 5001 in 2014.

Deputy of the TPM Manager and the AM Pillar leader including reporting within the factory and to headquarter.

 

·      Training, implementation and coaching of TPM methods in the pilot area (e.g. CIL, Centerline, problem solving, breakdown analysis, SMED).
·      Pillar work in Autonomous (AM) and Planned Maintenance (PM) and supporting the set-up of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) pillar.
·      Project work for organizational and technical optimization of the tagging system and introduction of a plant-wide database. Process, Standards and KPIs.
·      Supporting a Lean study in the Choco Crossies department as well as projects for the conversion of the chocolate supply and the replacement of a KitKat production line.

·         Compile labor standards, perform feasibility studies and production trials for the realization of new packaging formats.

·         Prepare and support budget meetings with the production areas, update SAP and define practical measures to improve the cost structure on the basis of a global benchmark analysis in the field of KitKat.

·         Develop and conduct trainings for safety and hygiene instructions for the entire production site as a team trainee activity.

·         Member of the Focused Improvement (FI) pillar and passed the Train the Trainer training; Develop, train and coach standards for problem-solving, DMAIC, SMED and loss deployment in production and service areas.

·         Successful completed a DMAIC project to increase line efficiency of a Choco Crossies packaging line as part of the Greenbelt training.
